The property that is now occupied by Woody's Wharf was owned by Woody Payne, a longtime local fisherman. Until the early 60's he used the property to store and repair boats from the local fishing fleet. Woody decided to open a small local watering hole where the other fisherman could gather to tell their fishing tales.
If you're a martini lover, this place is an absolute gem! Their martinis are perfectly crafted with just the right balance of flavor and sophistication. Whether you prefer a classic dry martini, a smooth vodka variation, or something with a creative twist, they have something to satisfy every palate. Definitely one of the best spots for martinis—highly recommended!
Whether you're a local or a tourist, come stop by this restaurant. Their service is top notch, we had such a kind server/bartender who gave us a rundown on the entire menu. You can also pull up your boat and order food to stay and eat or take to-go, which they bring out to you on the harbor. I loved the inside atmosphere, very nautical and warm. I didn't try any drinks but they had quite an extensive cocktail menu. Definitely worth the visit.
Always have a great time when taking the family to Woody's wharf. Food and drink are excellent, and the bay view never gets old. Especially enjoy the friendly staff who are always very polite and accommodating. My favorite place to go at any time of the year.
